Hi Philip,

I can't say yes or know as some of the pictures we use, are not ours, and frankly I have no idea who holds the copyright, as many places have duplicated these pictures. My best suggestion as find a building whith what you are looking for, ans snap a shot yourself - that's what I do, when I need authentic photos, and I also add a watermark to it, so other "bloggers" don't snatch it.

Good luck.

Doug,

I assume you want to know the cost of Uni-Solar PV panels - best thing I can suggest for a quick research - go to Google, search for "uni-solar" and select "shopping" tab on the left side - this will give you list of solar suppliers who carry uni-solar PV panels and current pricing.

If you are more interested in cost of standing seam metal roof, check out this metal roofing prices guide on RoofingCalculator.org

Dear Miss/Sir

I am the author of the Power Generation Handbook second edition. This book will be published by McGraw-Hill in New York soon. I am asking for your permission to use the photograph of the solar panels mounted on a house-roof in my book. You have included this photograpg (figure) on the Internet. McGraw-Hill will give you appropriate credit for using this picture. Are you willing to provide McGraw-Hill permission to use this Figure? Please call me at 416-509-5052.

Thanks

Hi Art,

We don't sell these thin film solar panels, but you can easily buy them from most solar panels distributors. These panels are made by Uni-Solar, and you would want an 18-foot long panel if your roof allows it. Check out the Solar Roofing article over at www.coolflatroof.com for more info on these thin-film solar PV panels, and their potential (though unconfirmed issues).

You need to allow the input of the cost per W of the total installed system or alternately the total cost installed and the kW size and you calculate it, this is very important now since the average national average is around $5.85 that is 9% less than last year's installed cost.
